Billy (the Bully) is a secondary character in Checkpoint. A school bully who is most happy when terrorising others.

Billy, alongside his older sister Katy, experienced a troubling start to life. Their parents abandoned them at a young age to allegedly join Mesa’s forces, meaning that Billy and Katy were left to the Multiversal adoption system.

His experiences in the adoption system only worsened his behavior, as he and his sister bounced from one foster home to another, never staying long enough to form real connections. Billy’s frustration grew, and he began taking it out on those around him, becoming a bully who thrived on intimidating others.

While other classmates became starry-eyed by stories of Steve and G.U.I.D.O’s Multiversal adventures, Billy was less than impressed - feeling a tangled mix of jealousy and frustration. Seeing heroes get chosen to explore the multiverse while he and Katy were left behind got under his skin.

Today, Billy’s rotten envy drives his everyday life. He’s quick to snap, push others around, and always ready with a sneer or a cutting remark. But who knows? Maybe one day someone will crack through that tough exterior and find the real Billy underneath…
